Our Little Village|Dixon (OLV|Dixon), administered by OSU’s Family Resource Center, is a reservable and drop-in short-term care program for children of OSU students and employees. Care is available for children ages 5 months through 10 years.

YOU MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO RESERVABLE SHORT-TERM CARE.
FOR DROP-IN SHORT-TERM CARE, YOU MUST REGISTER AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO DROPPING OFF YOUR CHILD(REN) FOR THE FIRST TIME.

SPRING HOURS:
OLV|Dixon will be open Monday through Friday and Sundays, from March 30th through June 12th.

OLV|Dixon AM Session: Preschool (ages 3 and up), plus Younger Siblings (ages 5 months up to 3 years): Reservable short-term care
- Monday-Friday
8:30am-12pm
OLV|Dixon PM Session: Afterschool Care (ages 3 years through 10 years): Reservable short-term care
- Monday-Friday
2pm-5:30pm
OLV|Dixon Sunday Session: Mixed Age (5 months through 10 years): Drop-in short-term care, up to 3.5 hours per day
- Sunday
1-7pm
No reservation needed for drop-in short-term care, just drop-in and leave your child for up to 3.5 hours while you work in your office, attend an event on campus, complete a homework assignment, etc.
(There may occasionally be a situation where attendance is at capacity and you may need to wait until another child leaves before dropping your child off for care.)

REGISTRATION:
Interested in enrolling your child(ren) at OLV|Dixon for Fall Term 2025? Please email: [email protected] and include your child(ren)'s name(s), birthdate(s) and what session you are interested in (mornings/AM or afternoons/PM). If you don't need regular/consistent care, register for drop-in short-term care available at OLV|Milne and OLV|Dixon.
ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) Form
- We are legally required to collect this information before you are allowed to leave your child at OLV.
- You only need to fill out the CIS Form if your child is not in care somewhere else that has already collected this information. For example, if your child is in school or a different child care center.
- You will not be able to leave your child at OLV unless you fill out this form and your child has received at least one dose of all required immunizations or if you identify that your child is in care elsewhere.
- If you need assistance filling out this form, please contact your child's doctor or visit the Benton County Health Department.
PRICING:
Students:
For OSU Students, both reservable care and drop-in care options are available to students paying the student incidental fee (enrolled in Corvallis, on campus courses). Care will remain free at time of service.
Employees:
Available to employees of Oregon State University.
Reservable short-term care:
- 1 day per week- $275 per term
- 2 days per week- $550 per term
- 3 days per week- $825 per term
- 4 days per week- $1,100 per term
- 5 days per week- $1,375 per term
All fees will be collected online. Invoices will be sent during the first or second week of the term. Payments can be made in full at that time or partial payments can be made throughout the term. Payments must be paid in full by the end of the term. There will be no in person payment options.
Drop-in short-term care:
For OSU employees, drop-in care is $21 per child, per day that drop-in care is accessed at OLV|Milne. The $21 will be charged regardless of whether the child stays for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 3.5 hours.
All fees will be collected online, after care has been provided. Invoices will be sent on a monthly basis and at the end of a term. Payments must be paid in full by the end of the term. There will be no in person payment options.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
- Prior to your child's first day of care, please read the OLV Parent Rules
- Parents will remain on the OSU main campus, as much as possible, while their child(ren) are being cared for at OLV. If a parent must return home to complete their work that is currently acceptable. The intent of OLV is to provide student and employee parents time to complete work and school tasks associated with their roles at OSU.
