The Family Resource Center is excited to announce our annual Bring Your Kids to Campus Day! The day is designed to help promote the value of a college education as well as share with our children the fun and exciting place where we are fortunate to work, study, research, and teach.

Face Painting with the Theatre Department
9:00am-12:00pm, drop in
Location: SEC Plaza, next to the FRC registration table

Bring Your Kids to the Writing Center
11:00am-3:00pm, drop in
Location: Valley Library main floor, Undergrad Research & Writing Studio in the back left corner
Recommended Ages: All
*Build a book or story, build a kid resume, scribble on our scribble table, participate in other reading, writing, and craft related activities.

College of Education Drawing, Trivia & Snacks!
10:00am-2:00pm, drop in
Location: Furman Hall (corner of 15th & Jefferson), first floor
Recommended Ages: "Draw your favorite teacher" - All; Trivia "Are you smarter than your ____ grader" - 1st to 5th graders
*$25 Beaver Store gift card drawn from all "Draw your favorite teacher" participants!

Children's Book Giveaway

*Drop by the School of Writing, Literature and Film in Moreland Hall and pick out a free children's book to take home and enjoy!

OSU Craft Center BYKTCD Special Craft Activities

Location: Craft Center in SEC, basement level

*There will be several hands-on, family friendly craft activities offered: Peerler Bead Designs, Pine Cone Bird Feeders, Spin Art Painting, and Pony Bead Creations.

Dixon Recreation Sports, 2 fun events listed below:
1) Fun Family Dance

1:00-1:30, scheduled time
Location: Dixon Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room 2
Recommended Ages: 5+ years
*Let out some energy at Dixon Recreation Center! Our dance fitness instructor will lead a class through several different fun, beginner-friendly dances. Please check our youth access guidelines prior to your arrival.
2) Family Swim
1:30-5:00, drop in
Location: Dixon Recreation Center, Dixon Pool
Recommended Ages: All
*Go for a swim with the kids! Dixon Pool will be open during our usual family swim hours. We have a lap pool and a diving well. Please check our youth access guidelines prior to your arrival.

Lakota Star Knowledge: Star Travel
12:00pm-5:00pm, drop in (with a short play at 1:00pm)
Location: 311 SW 26th St, Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws, in the gathering room

*Open house style, noon to 5:00pm, with a short play based on Lakota Star teachings at 1:00pm

Treasure Hunt at the Valley Library!
2:00pm-5:00pm, drop in
Location: Pick up a tour map at the main desk in the library. The map will provide a tour of the library to find treasures and to participate in different activities.
Recommended Ages: 2-12 years
*Our activities and the treasure hunt will begin at 2:00 and will include a photo booth, OSU Extension, Food Hero's "blender bike", button making, and a treasure hunt to find a 3D printed toy at the end. AND the department of Public Safety will be here with Cedar, their therapy dog! Coloring and Legos are available for "quiet activity time", 11:00-5:00, in the 2nd floor "Kow Lounge".

Journey around the globe with the Office of International Services and INTO OSU!

*Take your kids on a journey around the world! Little explorers will have the opportunity to color a passport and learn about various cultures through music, crafts, small treats, and other activities.

Precollege Programs invites you to "Sea" the Light!
10:00am-12:00pm, drop in
Location: Bexell Hall 207
Recommended Ages: 9-14 years
*Learn about studying oceanography at OSU, related student clubs and field activities. Then, dive into the deep ocean and explore the various applications of bioluminescence before creating your own LED-lit bioluminescent creature. OSU students will be there to answer your questions about college.

Get Crafty with the Academic Success Center!

*Join us to make pipe cleaner snakes, bracelets, and buttons to remember the day!!

KidSpirit Gymnastics & Blow-up Archery and Gym & Learn

*Waivers are required before the kids participate, and will be available for signature when you arrive at our event.

Grad Photos and Goodies at the MU!
10:00am-2:00pm, drop in
Location: Memorial Union concourse on the first floor, next to the Information Desk
Recommended Ages: 5+ years
*We will have a photo backdrop and graduation caps and gowns for kids to take photos in. We will be giving out Pepsi merchandise, Beaver coloring sheets, candy, and other goodies. Pepsi tote bags will be available to help kids carry everything they get throughout the day!

MU Lanes & Games Fun!
1:00pm-4:00pm, drop in
Location: Memorial Union Lanes & Games room 43
Recommended Ages: All
*Kids will have the chance to color and build quick crafts at tables set up near the entrance of MU Lanes & Games. Stop by between 1-4pm at your convenience!

Beaver Fans, join the Office of the President!

*Sports Fans - come by for snacks, giveaways, picture booth, and more! Just like being on the field!

Color & Create like a Psychologist

*There will be several hands-on, family friendly craft activities offered: see a model of the human brain, color brain coloring sheets, build a brain with playdough, learn about feelings and emotions.
