Halloween with Harry. LaSells Stewart Center, 875 SW 26th St., Corvallis. 3 p.m. Oct. 31. $10/advance. $12/door. The Symphony will perform music by John Williams from the Harry Potter films. At 1 p.m., guests with advance tickets are invited to an interactive “Diagon Alley” community business fair in the lobby featuring refreshments and special guests. Trick-or-Treat Downtown Corvallis. Participation downtown businesses. 2-6 p.m. Oct. 31. Free. Kids are encouraged to get dressed up in a Halloween costume and bring an adult. Downtown Corvallis Association-member businesses will have Halloween treats. Enter a costume contest sponsored by the Downtown Corvallis Association and the Whiteside Theater Foundation. Visit Whiteside during the event to have a photo taken and enter the contest. Winning entries will receive a DCA Gift Certificate, that can be spent like cash at any participating DCA-Member business. Children’s Halloween Party at the library. Corvallis Benton County Public Library Parking Garage. 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Free. A safe and fun event for children up to age 10, accompanied by an adult. Healthy refreshments provided, along with lots of games featuring trinkets as prizes. Costumes are strongly encouraged and all are invited to attend.
